International conference “Modernization of society in Ukraine from the standpoint of its association with the EU” was held in the Academy on April 2nd through 3rd, 2015.  Ukrainian researchers as well as guests from Poland, Moldova and Belarus took part. The event was planned by the Trade Union Federation of Ukraine, International association of educational and research institutions in sociolabor sphere as well as the Academy of labour, social relations and tourism.    

The conference panels were dealing with the crucial problems of Ukrainian society development in the context of the EU association:

Panel 1. Problems and trends of education and research in the situation of society modernization in Ukraine.

Panel 2. Economic aspects of society development in the context of EU association.

Panel 3. Ukrainian European choice as a provision for successful social transformation.

Panel 4. Convergence problems of Ukrainian and EU legislation.

Panel 5. Social work in the situation of modernizing society.

The participants emphasized the urgency of the conference main theme, substantiality of both the plenary sessions and panel discussions.
